I’ve never had better service. The atmosphere is cozy and homey, the food is on another level. Whenever I come to Bologna, I always come here multiple times. This is my favorite restaurant. You can always expect the highest quality of fish for the best prizes, as well as a beautiful combination of modern and traditional Italian cuisine.

Very cozy courtyard in the back and great service. The food was also pretty good and for a good price. We ate plenty of food and spent around 30€ each (no wine). Some reviews here say that this is a Sicilian-style restaurant, but I'd say this is incorrect. Some dishes are inspired from sicilian cuisine, but overall the style is more mediterranean / veggie friendly with some modern influences (hummus here and there, use of cardamom, ginger, etc).

If you're in the mood for something different, Pane e Panelle is a great option. It serves Sicilian cuisine in a slightly more contemporary style. Portions are relatively small and expensive, but this is mostly compensated with flavor and uniqueness. Service was wonderful, quick and attentive. The garden is a serene place to dine in. What keeps it away from 5 stars is the contrast we experienced in our food. While the antipasti were extraordinary, the main courses didn't quite reach that mark. The risotto was just slightly undercooked (unless that's the Sicilian way) and the scuttlefish on pea cream (while very tasty) lacked some contrasting texture. Something crunchy would do well with the chewy scuttlefish and the soft cream and cheese.

Excellent seafood/sicilian in Bologna. So you're in bologna, which means there's an infinite number of places where you can get brilliant bolognese cuisine. However, there _are_ plenty of places for other Italian alternatives - this for example, is one of them. Sicilian food done well, and with a heavy focus on seafood (of course). And yeah, they're welcoming, friendly, and all around nice people...

Fantastico! Food, service and atmosphere was Perfecto. Don't be afraid to ask the server for translation of the small but beautifully curated menu, as they are happy to help. Pricing is quite fair and I could never get this so fresh back in the states but for 3 to 4 times the price. We were lucky in our arrival time as we do not have reservations, but I would recommend them as well as most places during the holidays. If you want a happy adventure with your taste buds in seafood, this is the spot.
